What is GLP-T?
GLP-T is a synthetic derivative of gastric inhibitory polypeptide (GIP) that also acts as a
glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) analogue, giving it a dual-receptor profile. Comprising 39 amino
acids, it is studied for its ability to bind both GIP and GLP-1 receptors and for the resulting
activity in pancreatic insulin-secretion pathways.
Published research on the parent compound has examined its relationship to glucose handling,
satiety signalling, adiponectin levels, and body composition in study models. These findings are
